Lovely bunting

1. Douglas, Caroline and the girls arrive armed with flowers. I have a big pile of blank bunting ready for their artistic input.

2. We spend the afternoon at the table eating ginger bread men, drinking tea and colouring in. I genuinely wish more afternoons were spent like this.

3. By the time they leave there's a string ready to brighten up the kitchen. It's just what I (and the kitchen) needed.

4. A quick ginger beer and slight worky meeting at Beanscene.

5. A little bit sniffly, I take to the couch with Nurse Jackie.
