Demoiselle and Swallowtail

Our tour in Hungary and Slovakia is devoted as much to butteflies as to birds, and today was a day of butterflies and more small flying creatures. Here are a Beautiful Demoiselle dragonfly and a Scarce Swallowtail buttterfly--the latter captured by good fortune just after takeoff.

We were doing a short circuit from our Pension Jozefina in Krásnohorská Dlhá Lúka* along the border  between the two countries.  I haven't been sure of  locations, so I've not marked the map in the last few days, but I've posted the pension's location for today

*I copied the name from the web : )   Posted the next morning, to rumbles of thunder.  I hope we don't encounter a storm like that of a few days ago.
