Festival time

Street bollards in the Hampshire town of Romsey will never be quite the same again after this weekend.
You’ll be hard put to find a normal bollard  as it seems each one has been dressed for a summer of festival in the town.
The eleventh Romsey Festival runs from this weekend to Sunday, July 16 with a series of music, art and cultural events around the town, and in the middle of it the traditional Beggars Fair next weekend bringing in musicians, dancers and entertainers performing on the streets, in the pubs and  open air.
Meantime, our friends like this are adding a separate dimension to the festivities.

Yes, it’s summer in the town. And very welcome too.
