Reunion

It's Abi's birthday, tomorrow, so Hannah and Charlie have come up from Manchester, and Milly, who came home from her travels a week ago, has come up from her mum's in Lincoln. Earlier in the afternoon Abi came with us to meet Milly off the train at Carnforth. It was such a lovely moment as we met her on the platform and wonderful to be able to hug her after all the months of seeing her on FaceTime. 

Dan came up to the house to say hi later on when he'd finished work and while I was cooking they all sat chatting at the kitchen table. I love situations like that; they've pretty much forgotten I'm there and I can just listen in to them all laughing and telling one another stories.
