In search of a poppyfield

Hospitals, recuperation and hairdos don't go together. The feeling of relief to get my hair cut and coloured!

Another step to feeling back to normal.

I've wanted to check out the corner field by the roundabout at Pipe Hill as I've glimpsed splashes of red. In my way home I checked it out (on ONE crutch). It wasn't a full on poppy field but the blooms have certainly somewhat of a foothold. (Wider view in the extra)

I even resisted a shot of a Speckled Wood and a Seven spot burnet moth to blip my beloved poppies.
