Great Crested Grebe

Well it was The Big Day today for my husband! He went to the Dr Who exhibition. He went there for 9.30 even though it didn't open till 10. Still, it gave me the opportunity to scurry into town before he could find out that it was booked up until 1pm. :-) I spent a nice morning exploring the arcades and discovering a gorgeous shop selling hippy clothes which I am a bit short on at the moment (not any more).  The sculpture in the extra is close to John Lewis.

We met up for some coffee and cake before he finally got into the exhibition and I went to the nature reserve where I was amazed to see these grebes so close up.
