My Dad being cheeky :)

Back blip 4.
Up and out early again to meet my Auntie Sue and Uncle Fred at Oad street Craft and tea shop. I wanted some of the placemats with Oast houses on, luckily they had a few left. We sat in the courtyard in the shade as it was already hot. I had a iced latte and my favourite cake , Gypsy tart, yum, yum.
We went back to my Aunties to see my Uncles handy work. He has made some remote control boats out of odds and ends. He's also been plastering the Summer house which looks great.
Off to my Mums for dinner and then out on a tour of where my Dad was brought up. We saw where his friends used to live, where the sweet shop was , where he played and where he lived until he was 21. We then went to Milton Creek Country Park. It was even hotter by now. Dad managed a short walk and then went back for a sit down. I photographed the baby goldfinches, butterflies and bugs. The park had a good view of the Holy Trinity Church with the largest tower in Kent and third largest in England. It's one of the oldest in Kent.
After sad farewells  we went through Hollingbourne where we stopped and had a look at the pretty church.
Then on to Bearsted green where the sun was still shining but abit cooler. We sat on the bench and had sandwiches and a drink watching the volley ball players. On the pond waterlilies were blooming and moorhens balanced on the leaves. We drove up to the church and parked near the allotments and went for a walk in the woods. Such a peaceful place once the 50 or so joggers had ran past.
Then back to the hotel for our last night in Kent.
My Dad was being abit cheeky when Mike took the photo, making bunny ears behing my head ;)
