Djembe Fest

There's all sorts going on in Rottenrow Gardens this week! I popped out here for lunch and to see the CU gazebo in all it's splendour. There were BMX cyclists doing tricks; food tents; flyers being thrust at everyone from every angle from every night club and society...and an impromtu djembe jamming session! Some of the CU folk joined in. I had to leave before the CU staged a "Flash Ceilidh" advertising the ceilidh dance lessons we were holding this evening in preparation for the Union's ceilidh tomorrow - genius publicity stunt from the Freshers Week committee! I didn't go though as my feet were too sore from standing at work most of the day. Wuss, I know.

In the evening I did some baking for the stall tomorrow. I'm pretty chuffed with my CU-themed culinary creations. I might add a photo of them tomorrow...
