On the Roof

Absolutely typical... yesterday, walked out onto one of the points of the star-shaped bulwarks and got some great photos of our lower building - but seemed a shame not to have Mike on the roof. So today, arranged to ring him when I was there again, to get him in the photo - but, for some reason, all the photos were blurry - this is the best of the lot. The other building is the Roma church; they have occasional meetings.

We did have a swim in that blue, blue lake when we'd finished - was wondering if I'd got sunstroke, really felt odd by the time we left the land, but the swim did a good job of cooling us down. Today I was carrying stones to mark a boundary around the garden, and Mike has put in the last beam. Progress.

It is cooling down - 38C now at 7pm; just going off to the Eucharist - interesting to see how another priest does it...
