Nostalgia

Some admin and a happy-making amount of reading, then after lunch off to fancy Chelsea for a primary school show for Luke, and then pizza etc for kids and mums while the dads skipped off (almost literally) to their boys' night.

The show was fab. One of those school shows where the effort really shines through on a shoestring budget to give you something very much greater than the sum of its parts. And it was The Jungle Book so the songs were fab.

Then off back to our hosts for hanging out and pizza. On the way, I couldn't help but be waylaid by this little bit of blip nostalgia (#mattressmonday #maitressmonday anyone?)

Once properly caught up with the other S on the roof terrace, it was obviously time for TallGirl to have an unlikely injury (bumped head while having a kneeling down nerf gun fight). Once concussion was ruled out, time to leave everyone to their school night bedtimes and scurry off home.
