Wattle

After seeing  shots of wattle trees in full flower that some Australian Blippers have posted, I examined the wattles very closely when I went to the estuary yesterday. They are nowhere near full flower yet  - but you can see the promise  in the barely opened buds.

I brought a sprig home with me to beat the wet weather, and blip today.
