A Net House
So.
Today is the day of the Eastbourne Hot Air Balloon Blipmeet. Except, there were no hot air balloons. Too grey. Too windy. Potentially too wet. In fact it stayed dry this morning, but the heavens have opened this afternoon.
We met up this morning in the Hampden Park Cafe in Eastbourne with Blippers Woofcity, Heartbreak, LifeinBrighton, Seasons and BikerBear and we were able to have a chat and put the world to rights, as Blippers do. Then we had the compulsory Blipmeet photoshoot (Hope someone bits that later!) and we went our separate ways. It's unfortunate that there wasn't a bit more going on at the park. It was advertised as being about the balloons and then, of course, once they can't fly there needs to be something else to do. There were supposed to be all sorts of things going on this evening too but the heavens have opened and I think it will be a bit of a washout. Hopefully tomorrow will be better for them. I think we should all have decamped to the seafront for a walk in the sunshine at that point. But we didn't think about that at the time!
We (Chantler63, SHH and Hildasrose) decided to go an have a look at Hastings at the fishermen's net huts and that is what I have decided to blip today. We managed to get in a few shots of the sheds where the nets were hung to dry - vertically because of lack of land between the sea and the cliffs - before the rain started and since then we have been back at our quirky little Airbnb cottage and I have had the benefit of a personal 2 hour tutorial on Photoshop. My brain is now aching.
We are hoping it will stop raining soon as we would like to go to the pub without our waterproofs...
Thanks to Woofcity for getting us all here. Hope to meet up with you again soon.
