Eastbourne Blip Meet

I drove to Eastbourne this morning as Kate aka woofcity had arranged a Blip Meet at the Hot Air Balloon Festival, although due to the weather forecast, there weren't any balloons, not even on the ground! It was a shame as this morning it was sunny and not very windy, but the forecast was right and by about 1pm it started raining and it's not stopped since.

HeartFreek came and it was nice to meet the other Blippers who I didn't know: Hildasrose and her hubby Rob, Chantler63, BikerBear and Seasons.  We met at the cafe in Hampden Park and after having a good old chat, Season's hubby kindly took the obligatory group photo for us before everyone went their own way.

By the time I got home Alan had already headed into town with his mum and dad as they wanted to have a wander through The Lanes, so I jumped on the bus into town and met up with them.  It wasn't long before it started raining though, so we went back to the car and drove to the marina where we had lunch at Prezzo.

We're now home and going to have a relaxing night in front of the TV, so I can finally catch up with you.  Hope you're having a good weekend, whatever the weather!
