Royal crescent

Another rainy start in bath but it didn't stop us getting up and and out to go exploring. Luckily we had some windows in the rain and even some sun.

We headed to the Royal Crescent where they were holding a family day with street theatre and people dressed in costume from the days when the Crescent was built. Rosie and I had a wonderful ride in a horse and carriage up and down the Crescent (C declared he didn't want to go on at the front of the queue!!).

Next stop was the Abbey with a visit to the organ loft at 32 steps high. It gave a magnificent view of the central nave of the Abbey and the children were v excited to see where Daddy was doing all his playing.

Costa stop for the children and I while T practised with the choir then R fell asleep and we went back to hear evensong which was beautiful. R slept through it all and C was busy writing, meaning I could enjoy the whole thing in peace. R woke up to a very loud chord blasting from the organ right at the end!!

Back to our University home for dinner and drinks!
