Showtime!

Let's start with the points of the day ..........

Squirrel's gymnastic class put on a wee show for the parents/carers to let them see what they had learnt in a week.
Quite impressive I have to say - especially considering some of them had never done any gymnastics before this week.

Wine - I had some in the evening when we got to the hotel after stopping off to see No1 son and daughter-in-law.

Okay - now for the rest of the day!
 The monsters were horrible!   
By the time we set off down south I really wasn't in the mood and had a splitting headache (they fought, shouted, argued and refused but if I reacted .... I was the bad guy who had to calm down!)
The traffic was a nightmare. Not heavy just slow at the start (the 30 minute trip to join the motorway took nearly an hour) and then it was the idiots - overtaking and slowing down again, overtaking and slowing down again - refusing to move out of the middle lane - cutting across 3 lanes of traffic to leave the motorway as they were passing the exit slip-road - pulling out without looking - tailgating .......... you name it, the morons were doing it.
Even when we stopped in Penrith for fuel and a bite to eat it was fun and games watching the incompetence and stupidity in the car park.
If you didn't laugh you would cry.
