St. John's XC

Today our XC meet was local and in a truly beautiful setting. St. John's were the host school and organised their race at Château de La Hulpe. The course usually runs right past the Château but had to be changed at the last minute as there was a wedding there today and the wedding party didn't really want a load of sweaty runners ruining their wedding photos! I did suggest that they could throw some confetti as they ran past!

Although the runners didn't get as close, it's still not a bad view when you're running.

As it was local my husband brought the kids along after Olivia's dance lesson which was great, as now they have some understanding of what I do and what cross country actually means!
