Monkeying around
After a very late night as we had friends over for a meal and a mischievous Dexter, who loved the freedom of being able to get in and out of his new bed last night, we all felt a tad tired today!
We survived swimming lessons, did some arts and crafts which included lots of painting, including Olivia's hair - she is now sporting pink, purple and blue stripes in her hair (she received some hair paint for her birthday, which until now I have managed to persuade her not to use) and then after an epic three hour afternoon sleep from Dex we put the kids in the bike trailer and cycled to the playground for some much needed fresh air.
Olivia has always been tiny but we've noticed recently that she is becoming quite strong and she always has new moves to show us in the playground. There is a fantastic one at her school which she plays in before, during and after the school day and she watches the older children and tries to copy them on all sorts of weird and wonderful equipment. She particularly likes swinging from things at the moment and is becoming a proper little monkey!
