Dinnertime

It's an Asian Pear that's already been pecked or bitten, leaving that juicy flesh exposed. I was wondering why the fly wasn't moving as I got closer with the camera. Turns out he is very busy eating. I think that's a mouth part stuck into the fruit. I tried to figure it out on Google, but, I hate to say it: it was too gross. Sorry. Can't kill the fly either. Whenever I think about it I worry that I might be squishing Jeff Goldblum. I just hope there's some fruit left for us after all this drama.
