Helen and the melon

Photoist suggested I photographed the nectarine (9/8), shinning a torch on it in the dark. Unfortunately I'd eaten the nectarine but found this handy melon on the breakfast bar. I tried the light at the side, on top and underneath. I liked this one best because of the reflection on the work top. Of course there is always room for improvement, but I enjoyed the mini challenge, thanks Photoist.
We had a horrid crawl home from London, up the M42 and M6, the M40 wasn't too bad. It took 2 hours longer than it should. We considered other ideas for transport such as teleportation and cars with wings, well it past the time and at least it was a safe journey.
