The tail end of the Summer

I pass this tree on my way to and from work,  at the moment that means not long after sunrise for a morning start.  I'm hoping for a few mist in the valley images over the next month or so :-)

As it is our weekend of 12 hr days we made lunch at work,  An excellent fish pie from our shift leader and I made a pear frangipane which went down well.

Gill had the best of the weather and went out on her bike,  we exchanged mobile images of our achievements - see extras.

I'm quite behind with comments and have not yet organised anything from yesterday.  Hopefully I'll catch up tomorrow.
