Mountains In Blue

I'd a fairly quiet day, mainly spent wandering around North East Kyoto, the university area and the Imperial Palace park (the palace itself was closed up), and then I walked back down to my hotel. Went for a nap after that, but forgot to set my alarm and three hours later...

This is the view from one of the small bridges looking north. Mountains surround Kyoto on three sides. Today was overcast, with rain and thunder forecast for the next three or four days. It's as well I enjoy sitting in coffee shops.
