Piedra Lisa Trail Head

The pup and I went on a couple of hikes today. This is the result of the first one, around the trail head. Later Geoff and I went off on the Perea Nature Trail. Also a wonderful place, but I left the spare camera batteries at home.

I am in a bit of a slump. I am having trouble getting a picture I like. Nothing sung to me at all or knew my name. I guess the way out of it is to keep taking pictures.

The pup and I are beginning to connect and we had quite a nice day. He is obeying, getting in and out of the car willingly and stays close while we hike.

Today, I am grateful for the day I was given, the pup, the children and Mara, and that what could have been a major squabble seems to be dying down.
