Meet Merry!

Friday
I went walking this morning at Sharon Woods with a friend, Karen, and her dog Merry, a black lab mix. She was a rescue dog and she's about 8 years old now, and very friendly. Initially, she had been very scared of men, but she seems to have got over that now. It was supposed to get pretty hot today, so Karen wanted to walk early, as being black, Merry tends to overheat easily. My shot was taken at the end of our walk, and she was panting away, ready for some water after her walk!
Karen and I hadn't seen each other in a while, so it was good to catch up, especially about our respective children.
Following on from yesterday's news of Laura and her lost baggage, she got an email today, saying all 4 pieces of her luggage would be on today's flight - so let's hope they're true to their word!
I did some grocery shopping this afternoon, then when Roger got home, we went to the "Y" for a refreshing swim. I did 54 lengths the other day, but wasn't feeling quite so energetic today, so made do with 44!
