Trying to be brave

I was at work again today so she spent another day with lydia. It was meant to be just the morning but they were having too much fun and I hadn't finished work. So it worked well.

They made a trip to the beach to collect some stones I need for holiday club next week. At the same time, they also went to play in the kids paddling pool and got soaked in seconds. They loved it of course.

They played at home for a while and had lunch before they headed out to try a new outdoor activity centre that's just opened near by. It includes things like this here. Which apparently Katie was desperate to want to do, and tried several times, but just couldn't bring herself to do it. They did however have several hours playing on the outdoor play equipment and eating popcorn in the cafe. They'd had a brilliant time.

When we got home from work, via Morrisons for some tea, we were both just too bushed to do much more than eat and watch a movie!
