Another Non-Picture Day

I left SWMBO in bed to make sure she was felling better for the evening's trip into town.
So I spent some time fighting with bits of wood and realising that I really need a smaller set of jaws on the lathe for the job in hand.

Luckily SWMBO was feeling better when we headed into town to Dynamic Earth for their 9.30pm showing of a film based on and set to the music of Pink Floyd's "Dark Side Of The Moon". 
The 'screen' in Dynamic Earth is a dome so the seats are reclined a bit and you feel almost immersed in the film.
Before the main event there was a shorter fillm based on "The Wall" (also by Pink Floyd) and  Brenda, the 'usherette' (does anyone remember them?) warned us that we may encounter some motion sickness - but she would be on hand if anyone felt sick and needed help.
Within seconds of the film starting all we hear from some wag at the front was "Brenda .... I feel sick! ............ BRENDA!" The timing was brilliant - just as there was a section of film that could make people feel motion sick. After a minute or two it came again........... "Brenda! - Help me ....I feel sick".
I think it actually helped some people to break the moment and stop them feeling ill.

It was a good evening with suitably 'tripy' images to go with the music.
