Two Archies!

Here we are at our holiday cottage in the wilds of Perthshire. Not actually our holiday cottage, Christine's brother's holiday cottage. It's a marvellous wee place, right by the river.

Rufus and Big Archie are here with Christine, so three dogs is three times as much fun. Big Archie is a big gentle Labrador with gorgeous big spaniel ears. He is a bit timid and doesn't like city life, so it's easier to look after him here, rather than in Edinburgh. But Wee Archie and he (they've met before) have had a whale of a time charging around and our Archie has been in and out of the river.

It was warm and still in the afternoon when we arrived (having missed the turnoff and gone miles further than we should have), so we sat outside, with nibbles and prosecco, and enjoyed the bucolic setting, watching the two Archies playing - Rufus doesn't deign to do such frivolous things.

It's so peaceful here, just the sound of the river...

Archie wasn't sick in the car!
