Wrinkly (Day 838)

The morning wander with the woofers was fairly breezy and a bit cooler than it has been of late. Surely it can't be the end of summer already.
I was soon off to Stromness for work. The job today was to change a hot water cylinder, which meant draining the old cylinder, and the central heating circuit, removing the old cylinder and slotting the new one in, then filling everything up and trundling off home. If only it had been so simple. To get the old cylinder out I had to take apart the cupboard which had been built around it. It took far too long to take it all apart carefully so that it can be re-built. I have never understood why no allowance is made for maintenance in so many situations. Another couple of issues along the way made for a very long day, and a cupboard which still needs to be rebuilt.
I came home blipless, and thought a snap of a wrinkly flower would do for today.
Fingers crossed it all goes a bit better tomorrow. My beautiful wife has hinted at a lunchtime meeting tomorrow. It seems ages since we have seen each other.
