Porthdinllaen
I’d agreed with Anne yesterday that we wouldn’t go for a run today so I had a lie in until 8am. I still had a slight tummy ache after eating so much last night. I’d arranged with Karen to go to Porthdinllaen at 10:30am but it was an hour later before we set off. Anne and Molly came with us. Karen brought the excess sandwiches from last night. The kids went swimming and the water was really cold. We were back in town by 2:30pm because Anne had a Dr’s appointment and I had to drop Jack off at work. Shortly after retuning home, Anne called for me and we walked t Karen’s and sat by the harbour drinking tea and eating scones with clotted cream.
Richard called for me at pm and we went to town and bought some chips. We sat in his car on the promenade to eat them. I spoke to Penny and she seems quite anxious about her GCSE results. She’d travelled to Reading to set up their tent for the weekend. I get the feeling that she really doesn’t want to go to the festival.
