Navalón

*holiday backblips!*


We had such a smooth journey over to Valencia – Asha enjoyed the ferry...I enjoyed watching the sea being thrown up in the air as the ferry powered from Ibiza to the mainland. 
We drove to our AirBnB place via a supermarket – we’d been warned that the closest shop was 30 minutes away. That 30 minute drive was just spectacular, you leave the town (Moixent) & drive up the mountain to Navalón...hair pin turns & stunning views all the way (as well as popping ears!)
Our host, Jesus, is a lovely lovely guy...gentle & kind...and he’d left us a bottle of wine & some of his own home-grown veg!
We headed to the pool...set in the olive grove! You can just make out the village church (& hear the bells on the hour)...
We’ve landed on our feet here...the place is super quiet, the house is simple but lovely, and the pool is big and  beautiful.
Early nights all round – Asha’s excited to be sleeping in a bunk bed!

1) Safe journey here.
2) Jesus the host being SO kind & hospitable. He lives in the house next door.
3) This place – I can’t believe how fortunate we’ve been in finding it less than a week ago!
