Back in Ullapool

After a rather wet journey north we finally arrived in Ullapool :-)
Stopped at a couple of places on our journey north.
Lunch at Poppies, just before Connell, then afternoon tea stop at The Corner on the Square in Beauly.
As a treat we had dinner at the Ceilidh Place.
Very nice and of course we had to browse the Ceilidh Place's Bookshop (see extra).
There are always interesting books to see and I treated myself to a book of Scottish poems for growing older called 'Whatever the Sea'.
I was hooked when I read the first poem.

That is a strange day

when you wake to discover

age has drifted down

imperceptibly,like dust,
and you're totally covered.
