Wounded Tipula.

This Daddy-long-legs spent a couple of hours on our window. It's obvious that a posterior leg is missing --- a characteristic feature of the crane flies. With magnification I could see that it had only one and a half antennae. I think it had come for a rest after some disaster. It gave several tentative wing movements while it was there, probably summoning enough courage to go off somewhere.
