Feeding sheep

Granny treated us to a trip to the local children's farm (well, it's also a working farm and soft-play).  It's lovely there, they have sheep and goats who just love to be fed and it's such fun feeling them eating out of your hand.  Clearly, if you are 2, this is pure bliss.    The farm has a working water mill - the man didn't quite gauge his audience as the two year old wasn't really interested in the detailed workings on the milling stones.   We tried our best to listen to him in that very British way, whilst keeping a watchful eye on the not-so-interested party.

We braved the 'soft-play' which was an assault on the senses, but if you are two, up there with feeding sheep and goats, but in a more excitable, energetic kind of way.  Predictably, it was all just so good, that there were tears as we left - shortly following by falling asleep in the car.

A slightly quieter afternoon, a walk and play on the swings in the village with our friend who lives in the village.  Two very tired, happy boys this evening.
