Wet Iceberg

The delicate Iceberg rose is just about surviving the wet day. 
But I mustn't complain about our weather. I keep thinking about those islands in the Caribbean that are being devastated by hurricane Irma.  My extra is a photograph taken by me in 1965 in Guadeloupe. We visited the island on our way to a posting in Venezuela. We also went to Puerto Rico, Martinique, Barbados and Trinidad, all at Shell's expense. It was a fabulous trip leaving us with lots of memories of beautiful islands with stunning beaches. The state some of  these places are in now doesn't bear thinking about. How will they ever recover?
