Moor Wood
Mr P went to London to run the 11th London City Orienteering Race. He has done all 11 and did not want to spoil his record. I, on the other hand, did not want to subject my poorly foot and wonky hip to jogging round the hard streets so opted instead for a circular walk around Chiddingstone that included the ancient sunken lane above that has been cut through the sandstone in Moor Wood and is on my list of places in the SE to tick off. The route also took me through fields of head high sweetcorn (extra); a bit of a maize maze finding the right paths. 11,170 steps , job done , feet up.
