summer hummers

We have a new routine for our morning walks now. I hold Laney's leash, instead of my camera, since hubby is getting a bit more unstable on his feet. Still I enjoy starting our day with a walk through our woods, so glad hubby can still manage it. But now I have to search for a blip in new places. Today I went to our local nature center and looked for hummers.
The main entry is a female broad-tailed, even though I was hoping all that orange would make it a rufous, but no. And in the extra I caught a calliope at the feeder.
