Grass Seed Heads at the Tingley
Today was a nice break with way to many pictures I liked to choose from. It was a beautiful day and the baby and I set out to feed ducks and geese at Tingley Beach in Albuquerque because it makes the baby laugh so hard to watch the ducks and geese eat. We started off with the purchase of some stale hot dog buns. After feeding a large crowd all the buns, we set off to find a way down to the river and we did!
The bosque is gorgeous there. The dog and baby were delighted, as was I. You can get so close to the river and the plants and other cottonwoods are awesome. It turns out there is quite a system of paths, paved and unpaved, as well as benches. While there are lots of people around, I never felt particularly crowded, and I was very happy to have the pup along.
Today I give thanks for the day I was given, the baby and the pup, and the bosque.
