Mara!

This is an available light photo with grain reduction and some other photoshop manipulation. Mara has decided being fed is silly and she will feed herself. The dog likes this but it does make a mess in a restaurant and causes a large tip. She shakes her head vigorously if you even hold a spoonful of food near her. Right now she mostly feeds herself with her hands, but she is trying to figure spoons and her favorite toy right now is an espresso cup (enameled steel),

We had a pleasant lunch involving both kids, the granddaughter and a best friend.

This was the best picture today. I like it because it really commemorates a change in Mara's life, and we couldn't go walking with the stroller because it had 3 flat tires because of our off road use.

Today I am greatful for lunch, apple cider, and the day I was given.
