Bleu Cheese

As an added bonus to my favorite cheese shop, this old Chevrolet was parked in front of the giant cow. It must be the owner's car, because in the back window are the words Bleu Cheese.

If we are in the area of this shop, I usually force Lisa to stop. She is not that fond of cheese, but I am. There is a sign in front of the door that reads...WELCOME CHEESE HOUNDS...and I howl as I open the door. They also put up a sign inside that reads...PLEASE SAMPLE RESPONSIBLY, and Lisa claims they put it up after one of our visits.

In the EXTRAS are two shots from the Lumbermen's Monument near Oscoda, Michigan. The statue is 14 feet high, and the close-up is of the river rat wielding his peavey, a long spear-like tool used to guide the logs in the river.
