A Favorite Pastime

Had a nice walk along Cliff Drive this morning watching the waves, the birds, surfers, even two guys painting a lighthouse. Later, we went to the UCSC Arboretum where we saw many amazing plants including a wonderful collection of flowering banksia bushes from Australia that were buzzing and clicking with bees and hummingbirds. We didn't spot the two, elusive white hummingbirds others have seen there, but it is such a beautiful, peaceful place, I could've spent the rest of the day there.
