APPLE PIE

.....I have made for dinner tonight as it's my husband's favourite.

A beautiful day weatherwise and I know it will return to winter before summer proper arrives.

I had a lovely bike ride this morning to the other side of the river from home and came across a family, including the dog in the extra, in one of those 'plastic' canoes.  That is, mother, two small children and this dog.  I wasn't fast enough to leap off the bike and catch a snap of them all in the canoe.  To be honest I was blown away as there were quite a few boats going down river whilst they were traversing it.  Oh well.  I fell in love with the dog from a distance ...... he was wet!
