Day 6

Chicken Lady and I sat up late doing a jigsaw ...... it was part of an Ordinance Survey map and half of it was sea! - all the same colour with nothing but grid lines. It was murder ---- and it was missing a piece!
This blip was to show how well the fire was lasting and was what I was sleeping in front of. 
There was still a bit of a glow when I got up.

Despite the dramatic clouds over Polin Beach, Mr Grumpy, Castors and I wandered over there with a few stops for pictures....... posts, wire and stones.
Down on the sand it was grass , sand curves, and the aforementioned combined with a feather.

At the other end of the beach I climbed up the rocks and stood .... fighting against the howling gale up there .... and took 6 shots looking down on the islands off Oldshoremorebeach  (well, they are islands at high tide anyway) which I combined into a panoramic shot.

That was my day done.
My back was knackered - so I slowly headed back to the cottage and left the other two to it.


In the evening we all sat round the table with a drink or 14 and played "Cards Against Humanity" until hlf of the company got too drunk and went to bed. 
Then we changed to the card game "Exploding Kittens" ......... with a few lots more to drink.
There was no way it was being played properly --- but we all had a brillliant night.
I haven't laughed so much in years.
I also haven't been that drunk ill in about 40 years.
