Write up to follow . Am in the process of moving wards

Thanks for looking at my journal.....I have a bone infection in my right hip. On Wednesday they will operate to remove the old (replaced) hip. They will swap for a temp hip which I won't be able to walk on. I will have this for 6 weeks or until the infection is clear.

After I get the all clear they will operate again to give me a usable hip joint. Hopefully by Christmas I will almost be fit again.

The couple pictured are medical students who were looking for someone to examine...they chose me. I use the word couple but don't read anything into that.
