Apple Chutney

A few days ago when I went to U3A someone was giving away bags of surplus cooking apples. I gratefully took possession of one of the bags and have made a batch of chutney with them. 

There are plenty left over to make a crumble next weekend when my son and family come to visit. Naturally they'll be receiving some chutney too.
