Fulking and Perching
A glorious all day walk with the spaniel on the South Downs. Starting at Wolstenbury Hill we walked west over Newtimber Hill, down to Saddlescombe Farm, up the Devil's Dyke (the deepest dry valley in Britain), over Fulking Hill and Perching Hill to Edburton Hill and Truleigh Hill where we turned around and came all the way back. About 16 miles in total. This is the view from near the top of Devil's Dyke looking back towards Fulking Hill and Perching Hill on the return journey when the light was really nice.
