Lurid Bolete
Found this wonderful fungi this morning, growing under a Sweet Chestnut tree. I know its a member of the Bolete family and my best guess is that its the Lurid Bolete (Boletus luridus). The cap is a light ochre colour and dry to the touch, The pores are orange and turn blue when bruised. The stipe is an apricot colour at the top and covered with a fine red pattern. When cut through the stem instantly turned from yellow to dark blue. I'm currently trying to get a spore print from it.
