Reflection

MrM drove us down to Alnwick early this evening to tackle the weekly shop. We stopped off en route for a walk at Branton Lakes with Louie, and in Alnwick enjoyed a fish supper at Carlo's.

As we arrived at Branton, hundreds of greylag geese were taking off and flying south, honking loudly as they went. Very few birds left on the lake apart from these two swans, feeding together. An appropriate photo on the Autumn Equinox - a time of balance and reflection.
