Bosque Sunset
It was nip and tuck but the baby, pup and I made it out to the bosque in time to walk for an hour and a half. Nothing exciting, no exciting wildlife and only a few cranes and geese (we have seen a raccoon and a porcupine out there), but it was peaceful and the baby slept most of the way.
I will say that BOB strollers (push chairs) are wonderful. We can go anywhere and now we have thorn proof inner tubes, tire liners and bright green slime in all three wheels to prevent punctures, since we live in the land of the goat head (a very nasty type of sticker/thorn). We also have a leash now that clips to a belt so that i can keep my hands free while pushing, although the pup runs free when we get far from the beaten path.
Today, I give thanks for the day I was given, thorn-proofing, clean water, enough food, a roof, a safe place to walk and that pup that gives me just a little bit more security when we are in the boonies.
