Yesterdays Hydrangea blooms are contributing to our flowers for church this morning.

We normally buy large amounts of cultivated flowers in memory of our parents at about this time of year to place in the church.

Last week work began on the interior of the church to improve the heating and remove the pews. ( A bit traumatic for some of us - seecorinthian column last Wednesday.)

We thought that as we have no church, just the family room until November, it would be a bit pointless buying lots of flowers so we turned to the garden for a small offering today. These provided the lovely autumnal colours we wanted.
