I've been eyeing up this blip opportunity - at the top of the escalator leading from the Library Cafe to the Library itself and to the academic offices including mine - for some time. I probably should have saved it for a rainy day in winter.

Good meeting with MK, who asked me an interesting question last week, followed by a rather impenetrable seminar about Skandic Poetry. Lunch, and then working in the office until Mr A met me and we wandered along to an excellent guitar concert at the Arkadia International Bookshop. And they had the book he wanted.

Going to a concert at tea time made me feel properly at home in Helsinki.
