Crispin (Day 874)
There was a bit more of a gap between the ground and the sky this morning (see extra) as I wandered up the hill with the woofers this morning, and despite the strong wind, it looked as if it would turn into a better day.
I headed to town to collect some bits, then set about a job in town fitting a radiator. I was done and home in time for lunch with my beautiful wife, and a wander with the woofers at Wasdale. Despite the early promise of a better day, it remained fairly grey, overcast and windy.
Back home, I zoomed straight out to Crispin and Charlotte's to put down floorboards and generally sort out all the bits I had taken apart so I could route pipes for their new radiator. Crispin sat by the window doing one of his wonderful pen and wash sketches and I couldn't resist asking if I could take a quick shot of him. I liked the way the light was falling on this very fine gentleman.
Time for another Giraffe methinks...
